Eighteen months after the success of the creation, in Delhi, of Orfeo, Crossing the Ganges, several landmark works from the baroque repertory were performed in this city. These two concerts were developed on the basis of a training programme conducted for the Indian singers and instrumentalists who participated in the concerts.
